Carmen Miranda/Chiquita Banana Costume

Time: 1 hour

Effort: Quick and easy — no sewing required

Materials:

• Glue gun
• Wreath (about the size of your child's head)
• Plastic fruit (for the headpiece)
• Top and skirt that are the same color
• Maracas (look for these at a dollar store)
• Red high heels, red lipstick

Instructions: Hot glue the plastic fruit onto the wreath (be sure to leave some grapes hanging). Attach some twine to the headpiece, so that you can tie it under your child's chin, once she is dressed and made up.
