Candy Buttons Costume

Time: 1-2 hours

Effort: Easy — no sewing required

Materials:

  • White shirt and pants, or a white sweat suit
  • White socks and shoes
  • Styrofoam balls (small to medium)
  • Spray or craft paint in fluorescent pink, blue, and yellow
  • Glue
  • Fluorescent colored wig or hair spray (optional)
  • Candy buttons (the real thing!)

Instructions: Spray one third of the Styrofoam balls pink, one third blue, and one third yellow. Allow to dry, then cut them in half and glue them in vertical rows down the front of the sweat suit, alternating colors. Spray your child's hair, if desired. When people ask your child what she is, she can hand out the real candy buttons.
