Bubble Bath Costume

Time: One hour

Effort: Quick and easy — no sewing required

Materials:

  • Dark-colored shirt and pants
  • Disposable white Styrofoam cooler
  • Wide, sturdy ribbon
  • Small white balloons
  • Packing tape
  • Clear plastic shower cap
  • Rubber ducky
  • Sponge back scrubber
  • Scissors and/or X-Acto® knife

Instructions: Cut the bottom out of the cooler. Tape two ribbons to the cooler for shoulder straps. (Tape them on the wide side of the cooler.)

Blow up a number of white balloons. Tape them all over the cooler and, and tape two or three onto the plastic shower cap.

Tape the rubber ducky to the cooler.

Dress your child in dark clothing, then slip the cooler over his shoulders, put the shower cap on his head, and give him the sponge back scrubber to hold!
