Rubik's Cube™ Costume

Time: 30 minutes

Effort: Easy - no sewing required

Materials:

  • Box that is evenly square on both sides
  • Glue
  • Black paint and paintbrush
  • Construction paper (in various colors)
  • Scissors
  • Dark colored sweatsuit
  • Tape or Velcro?
  • Rubik's Cube (optional)
  • Face paint (optional)

Instructions: Paint outside of box black and allow to dry. If you want, use Rubik's Cube as guide to glue pieces of construction paper to box around four sides. Paper should be in six different colors of equal size squares for each side, using three rows per side. Measurement will depend on box size. Cut off bottom flaps on box for your legs. Cut out holes on sides of box for arms to extend out. Cut hole on top big enough for neck to fit comfortably, without rubbing. Stick a strip of Velcro? to flaps to keep top shut, or tape it taped across the seams after putting costume on, if you don't need to be taking it off at a party.
