Rainy Day Kid Costume

Time: 1 hour at the most

Effort: Easy - no sewing required

Materials:

  • Umbrella
  • Raincoat
  • Boots
  • Clear tinsel or the plastic shredded tinsel used in gift wrapping
  • Rubber cement or glue
  • Sparkly body spray (optional)

Instructions: Open the umbrella and glue the tinsel to the edges of umbrella so it gives the effect of water running off it. You can also spray the child with the glittery body sprays available at drugstores, to give them the damp look. Add the jacket and boots and they are on their way.
