Pixie Costume

Time: 2-3 hours

Effort: Fairly easy - no sewing required

Materials:

• Dance skirt (from a dance supply store)
• Leotard
• White leggings
• Spray-on glitter for clothing (from a craft store)
• Wire
• Floral tape
• Fake flowers
• Ribbon
• Ballet slippers
• Body glitter
• Wings (from your local department store)

Instructions: Spray white leggings with the glitter to make pants. To make floral crown, take a semi-thick wire and estimate the length to fit around the child's head, allowing an inch extra. Then make a hoop and twist the ends together. Take the floral tape and wrap the wire. As you do this, tape in flowers. Then take ribbon and make a bow in the back and let the ribbons hang down. When finished, put on, add wings to the back of the leotard and - voila - cute pixie!

Tips: If you have a little bag or pouch, you can place craft glitter inside for pixie dust. Make sure to put a lot of glitter on to make it last and for effect.
