Pile of Laundry Costume

Time: Less than an hour

Effort: Easy - no sewing required

Materials:

  • Clothes
  • Old outfit
  • Safety pins

Instructions: Just pin the clothes onto an old outfit!

Tips: Don't use too many clothes. Space them out well. It can get VERY heavy!

Variation: Use an old laundry basket and cut out the bottom. Have it waist high. If too loose, use socks to go through handles and pin sock to sweatsuit. Add a knitted cap with some socks and stuff pinned to it, or a hat made from a washed-out Clorox bottle. A fabric softener ball makes a nice pendant necklace (for a child old enough for a necklace)...a few gently used fabric softener sheets add to the ensemble, too.
