Monkey Costume
Time: 15 minutes
Effort: Fairly easy - some sewing required
Materials:
- Brown sweatpants
- Brown sweatshirt
- Brown ski mask
- 2 pieces of felt shaped like monkey ears and 2 smaller pink pieces
- 2 pieces of long brown felt (about an inch wide)
Instructions: Sew two pink pieces of felt onto the brown felt ears. Now sew the ears onto the ski mask on each side. Take the two long pieces of felt, put them together, and sew them where the edges meet. Sew the tail to the back of the pants. Put the brown pants and sweatshirt on your child.
Tips: Keep the tail off the ground to avoid tripping. Say "oo-oo ee-ee" like a monkey. If you prefer, use face paint and a headband instead of the ski mask.
