The Grinch Costume (Cartoon Style)

Time: 30 minutes

Effort: Quick and easy – no sewing required

Materials:

• Santa hat
• Red sweatshirt (one that's a bit too long for your child)
• Green turtleneck
• Green sweatpants or tights
• Faux white fur (about 2 1/2" wide, and long enough to go around the bottom, wrists, and neck of the sweatshirt)
• Green gloves
• Green face paint
• Black eyeliner
• Hot glue gun

Instructions: With the hot glue gun, attach the faux fur around the bottom, wrists, and neck hole of the sweatshirt. Make sure it will still be able to fit over your child's head after everything is glued in place.

Dress your child in the turtleneck and sweatpants or tights. Have him put the fur-trimmed sweatshirt on over turtleneck. Lightly cover his face with green face paint. Use eyeliner to draw in scowl lines. Add the Santa hat and gloves.
