Stoplight Costume

Time: 1 hour or less

Effort: Quick and easy - no sewing required

Materials:

  • Cardboard box
  • Green, yellow, and red paint
  • Red face paint

Instructions: First, cut three holes in the box: One on each side for the arms and one on top for the head. Cut off the bottom of the box to make room for legs. Paint a green circle on the front of the box near the bottom. Paint a yellow circle in the middle. Paint your face red. Put on the box and you're ready to go (or stop)!

Variation: Instead of painting the circles, cut three circles out of the box. Tape red, yellow, and green cellophane wrap behind each cut-out circle. Hold a flashlight behind the circles and let the light shine through!
