Sand Witch Costume

Time: 30-40 minutes

Effort: Quick and easy - no sewing required

Materials:

  • Black dress, robe, or sweat suit
  • Witch's hat
  • Broom (optional)
  • Two pieces of white poster board
  • Clear postal tape
  • Green, red, and yellow colored paper
  • Scissors

Instructions: Cut each piece of poster board into the shape of an oversized piece of bread - about as wide as your child's torso. From the scraps of poster board, cut two long strips. Tape the strips to the pieces of "bread" to create shoulder straps. Your child will be "sandwiched" in between. Cut out the colored paper to look like lettuce, tomato, and cheese and tape it to the inside of the bread slices so it's sticking out all around. Top it off with a witch's hat and a broom.
