Cleopatra Costume

Time: 2-3 hours

Effort: Easy — no sewing required

Materials:

  • Tin foil
  • Gold spray paint
  • White dress
  • Gold rope from fabric store (with tassel, if possible)
  • Black hair spray
  • Gold, glittery eye shadow
  • Gold nail polish
  • Leather sandals (strappy is good)
  • Scissors

Instructions: Cut tin foil into the shape of a big necklace and spray it gold. Let it dry. Fashion a bracelet out of tin foil, and spray that gold too. (This will go high up on your child's arm. Make it look like a snake if you can!)

Dress your child in a white dress. Tie the gold rope around her waist.

Spray hair black, add gold glittery eye shadow, and eyeliner on the eyelids that extends past the eyes. Finishing touch: gold fingernail and toenail polish, and leather sandals.
