Macaroni and Cheese Halloween Costume
Time: 1 to 2 hours
Effort: Easy - no sewing required
Materials:
- Yellow sweatsuit
- 4 to 5 polystyrene wreaths
- Yellow spray paint
- Orange paint
- Yellow hat
- Glue gun
- Sponge
- Yellow ribbon
- Scissors
Instructions: Sponge-paint orange splotches of "cheese sauce" all over the top and pants of the sweatsuit. Cut the wreaths into 4 "noodles" each, and spray paint noodles yellow. After paint dries, splotch noodles orange with sponge. Attach noodles with glue gun to hat and sweatsuit. Replace shoelaces on tennis shoes with yellow ribbon, and also tie ribbon around two noodles.
Tips: You can also cut a knife and fork out of cardboard and have your child carry them. Instead of a hat you could sponge-paint a wide fabric headband.
