Lobster Costume

Time: One hour

Effort: Easy - no sewing required

Materials:

  • Red tights
  • Red leotard (or just a cute red top)
  • Red shorts (optional, a cute red skirt would also be fine)
  • A red headband (the ones with antenna-like things with glitter balls at the end)
  • Red shoes
  • Red glitter
  • Red lipstick
  • A net
  • Red oven mitts
  • Seashells
  • A lobster bib (from seafood store or restaurant)

Instructions: Dress your child in red clothes. Put on headband (color headband red if not done already). Take the net and cut it so it looks like a shawl. Then, if you want, glue seashells on it to make it look authentic. Put on oven mitts and bib. Ta-da! He's a lobster.
